The Palma Aquarium is more like a theme park focussing on the underwater world, the flora and fauna of the Mediterranean landscapes and the jungle and promises plenty of variety and fun for the whole family.

The aquarium

Immediately after the entrance, you enter a room and are surrounded by the breathtaking underwater world of the Mediterranean. Marvel at the fish and plants that can be found in our immediate waters. Then it's on to the tropical seas, where the colourful splendour and variety of fish species really come into their own.

The first aquariums are followed by the Mediterranean gardens and the jungle, where the respective flora and fauna can be explored. In this section of the Palma Aquarium, there is also a self-service restaurant, a pizzeria and an ice cream parlour for small or large appetites.

But the refreshing "shore leave" was just for a change! After the jungle, more impressive underwater worlds await you in the tuna exhibition, the Deep Blue and the jellyfish pool. Are you wondering what exactly Deep Blue is? Although the name shark tank would also be appropriate, it doesn't come close to describing the dimensions of this tank. At 8.5 metres deep, it is the deepest shark tank in the whole of Europe.

Watching the rulers of the seas is a unique experience that you will never forget!

Afterwards, there is another restaurant and the shopping arcade, where you can buy souvenirs and much more.

Swimming and diving with the rays is also very popular with children, or do you even dare to enter the Deep Blue ocean tank? Then you can get up close and personal with the sharks. It could hardly get more exciting.
But it does, because there is also something special for children aged between 6 and 16 to experience at night: The new babysitter here is called "Shark" and is happy to look after your little ones and older ones for a night in the Deep Blue's night camp.
