Enjoy a bird's eye view of Maspalomas on Gran Canaria in a paratrike

The Canary Island of Gran Canaria is not just very attractive from land and the sea, it looks great from the air too. Have you ever wondered what the landscape looks like from above or even how a bird feels? You’re probably familiar with paragliding - but this activity is a motorised paraglider that is referred to as a paratrike or a microlight. In the paratrike you be given the fantastic opportunity to discover the breath-taking landscape around Maspalomas in the south of Gran Canaria like a bird.

You will be picked up by the local expert organiser from your hotel or accommodation at about 8 a.m. and taken to the private airfield. There you will be given a professional briefing and a small breakfast. Once the safety instructions have been explained and all of the systems and the weather conditions have been checked and - most importantly- as soon as you feel safe and before the excitement gets too much, you will then take off in the tandem microlight. You will be flying as free as a bird in the paratrike over the hills, dunes and coastline around Maspalomas on the Canary Islands.

Each day is unique and during the 45-minute microlight flight, you may see things like the boba turtle in its natural habitat. Take the lead flying with a flock of gulls, head out over the ocean and fly over the dunes around Maspalomas, which make you feel like you are flying over the desert. Or the feeling of weightlessness up amongst the clouds...Up in the air you can decide what the flight will be like: if you want to feel more adrenaline, your experienced tandem partner will let you try more tricks or go for a relaxing flight and just take in the landscape from above.

Besides your guaranteed rush of adrenaline, the following services are included in the price: the briefing given by the professional team on site, a 45-minute tandem flight in the microlight, a small breakfast consisting of coffee, tea, juice, water, sweet and savoury snacks, all of the safety equipment you need (a helmet, headset, microphone, warm clothes), liability and accident insurance, an HD video (with music and special effects!) and photos of the ultimate excursion.
