After the pick up from Granada we will head to the Sierra Nevada flight area, which is chosen by your guide depending on the weather and wind conditions. Before departure, you will receive all the essential informations about the adventure in the air, the flight route, gliding under the glider and the landing. You fly in tandem with an experienced pilot at your side and are well secured during the flight. Between 10 and 20 minutes you will glide through the magnificent landscape of the Sierra Nevada and have an impressive experience in the air. The trip takes about 4 hours, round trip. Please allow time for a half-day excursion. After the paragliding adventure you will be driven back to Granada.

If you have always wanted to do something crazy or are looking for thrills, paragliding in the Sierra Nevada in Andalusia is the right thing for you. The mountain ranges in southern Spain are considered a fantastic flying area. Especially the good thermals and the winds play a role here. But also the impressive scenery of the Sierra Nevada is made for paragliding and adventure. From Granada you start a 4-hour excursion into the highest mountains of the Iberian Peninsula. In the company of a professional, multilingual pilot, a launch site suitable for the wind direction and weather is approached. Everything you need to know about paragliding in Spain, the sport of the air, will be explained by the guide before your departure. Then you will be equipped with the necessary equipment. Please remember that it will be cooler in the mountains than in the lowlands. Sporty, warm clothing and sturdy shoes are recommended for this activity.

Your paragliding flight starts from an altitude of 1300 meters. So you have a nice distance in front of you to get a taste of the mountain air and to see a lot of this impressive landscape during the paragliding flight. You will fly in front of your pilot during this tandem adventure, are secured with harnesses and can sit back and enjoy the view of the mountains during the activity. Only at take-off, when the wind is blowing into the paraglider, you have to take off together with your pilot and then simply take off for your 10 to 20-minute flight in the Sierra Nevada.
