Soak up everything the Ocean has to serve up with a trial dive or a diving trip and embark on a journey with experienced divers at your side throughout. The professional diving school in the Algarve has a lot on offer for novices and experts too! The following applies to all three booking options:

Option 1: Diving in the Algarve - First-time dive

Take your first step into the underwater world. A trial dive in the Algarve lets you suss out diving equipment and techniques. Let the experienced guide take you through everything:

  •     An introduction to the basics
  •     A practice run in a pool
  •     A 12m-deep sea dive (boat trip)

This is made for inexperienced divers and is meant as a first-time diving experience. You will get a certificate that lets you dive with an instructor so that you don't have to go through the same training the next time you fancy going diving. Certification valid from 6 months to dive down to 12 metres always accompanied by a specialist.

Option 2: Diving in the Algarve - 2 dives for experienced divers

Calling all certified divers! Get the chance to go on two dives and have a little break between them to catch your breath. Immerse yourself into the ocean with impressive caves, wonderful wrecks, natural reefs and much more. Be enchanted by the fascinating flora and fauna.

  • Hours: 8:45 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Requirements: Dive Certification (Only for certified divers with minimal certification of Open Water)

Important information

Preconditions

  • Ability to swim
  • Minimum age 10 years
  • Children and young people under 18 years of age have to be accompanied by an adult during this activity.

Swimwear, towel, Required documents: Diving certificates for the diving trip (certified divers)

If the client has not dived for more than a year and a half, a Scuba Review must be done before booking a dive ( at an additional cost).

With the experienced diving centre in the Algarve in picturesque Albufeira, you have a safe and friendly partner at your side if you want to gain your first experience underwater. Of course, experienced divers will also benefit from their stay in Albufeira, as they can experience the fascination of diving in the Atlantic.

Diving in the Algarve is absolutely worth a diving trip in Portugal: from introductory dives to professional dives, all safety requirements are met in respectful interaction with nature and people.

Conditions

Valid on the reserved day or for 12 months after date of purchase if no date has been selected. You will receive the tour operator's details with the purchased ticket. Attention: reservation is required! The reservation can be made through sunbonoo as part of the booking process or later by contacting the tour operator directly via phone or email.
Attention: we strongly recommend a general practice of allowing a surface interval of 24 hours or more before flying after diving to prevent decompression sickness. Very important!

It´s worth it

Maybe it´s not Caribbean or Australia, but as experienced divers we had to look under water here and there was still something new to discover.

Ist vielleicht nicht Karibik oder Australien, aber als erfahrene Taucher mussten wir natürlich auch hier mal unter Wasser vorbei schauen und es gab doch einiges Neues zu entdecken.
