Option 1: Sunset boat trip Crete from Chania

A day in Crete comes to an atmospheric end: the private sunset boat trip starts in the old harbour of Chania, aboard a comfortable fixed hull boat (RIB). Past the romantic lighthouse we sail towards Lazaretta, a small island point off Chania. There we can decide whether to go west to Theodorou or along the east side of the bay to Maherida. At one of the two places we will set anchor for a small picnic by seeing the evening sky and you should enjoy Cretan wine accompanied by the popular Graviera cheese with honey. After about 2 hours we will return to the harbour off Chania.

Option 2: Sunset boat trip Crete from Kissamos

For a sunset place in Crete, the island of Gramvousa with its Venetian fortress is perfect, so it is the destination of our evening boat trip along the west coast. To start the tour in Kissmosa we board a sturdy inflatable boat. An experienced skipper will sail with us up the bay until we round the tip of the peninsula and steer straight to Gramvousa. We look for a place to anchor below the fortress, so that we have a good view of the changing colours of the sky while enjoying Cretan wine with cheese and honey on board.

In any case, we will stay on the water for about 2.5 hours and go by boat to the most beautiful places to watch the sunset over Crete from the water. For the sunset boat tour from Kissamos there is a predestined place for this: the island of Gramvousa, which is located opposite the cape of the same name and is famous for an imposing Venetian fortress above the beach. Here we anchor while the play of colours in the sky and let the coastal panorama pass us by

During the boat trip to the sunset from Chania we can either head east or west - the small luxury of a private boat trip on Crete is the right of co-determination.
