sunbonoo: How did you get into quad biking?

Stephan: My love of quad biking began in Egypt. An extended desert tour on a quad bike over several days was great fun. The sun, the desert, all the action on a quad bike - it was just a great feeling. Over the next few years, I kept in touch with like-minded people in Germany via forums and social networks, we met up, spent weekends together off-road and pushed the quads to their limits. A bit of fun turned into a permanent hobby :-)

sunbonoo: What is the best quad bike tour on Mallorca for someone who wants to see as much of the island as possible?

Stephan: For a guest who wants to treat themselves to an unforgettable adventure, a 3-hour quad bike tour is already a small sporting challenge. The whole body is challenged and concentration is important in order to drive safely. Mallorca offers a very varied landscape: there is flat land, forests, mountains, coastal regions and much more. Stephan: I can always recommend a quad bike tour to adventurous holidaymakers. However, it's better to go on guided quad bike tours, as many areas of Mallorca are protected or privately owned. If you don't know your way around, you can very quickly get into trouble or be fined. You don't want to have to deal with something like this on holiday, so trust the guide, he knows the best viewpoints and also remote paths on which you are allowed to drive. There is also always the option of discussing individual wishes with the guide before the quad bike tour so that the route can be adapted accordingly.

sunbonoo: Is a quad bike tour on Mallorca dangerous?

Stephan: I think it always depends a little on the people themselves, their driving ability and the proper maintenance of the quads. Overconfidence is a big issue, and there are always people who want to show the group how well they can drive a quad bike. However, our guides always make sure that the group is correct and specify the speed, level of difficulty and type of quad tour so that everyone has a lot of fun and just as much safety.

sunbonoo: What do you enjoy about quad biking in Mallorca?

Stephan: The Mediterranean air on Mallorca is simply marvellous and it is almost always pleasantly warm. The sun is shining, the sky is bright blue and the people are in a good mood. That's how a quad bike tour starts for me. You get a bird's eye view of the places and can ride up and down the forests and mountains on a quad bike. From there you usually have a spectacular view over the countryside and you also discover hidden, small bathing bays.
