Booking option: Rhodes jeep safari tour in the north

The jeep safari starts at a meeting point near the village of Theologos. All participants will be collected from their hotels, meet their guides and learn more about the day's programme. The northern route takes us through the mountains and a magnificent natural landscape to the Seven Springs. During the stop you can walk through the famous tunnel, explore the springs and enjoy a coffee. The second scheduled stop is at Archipoli, where you can sample Greek specialities such as honey, souma, olive oil, local sweets and fresh seasonal fruit. Finally, we visit a small chappel where we can fill our drinking bottles with fresh spring water. The last stop is a winery in the mountains. During a short tour you will learn interesting facts about wine making, followed by an optional wine tasting and a traditional "meze" lunch (not included in the price). "Meze is the original way to experience Greek cuisine.

In case of a self-driving jeep safari the driver will sign a rent a car contract. An own risk of 650€ will be applied. The customer will be charged a maximum of 650€, according to the damage, in case of an accident by fault.

4x4 Adventure on Rhodes: Jeep tour through the northern or southern part of the island

Up to 570 metres - that's how high the Rhodes Jeep Tour goes in the mountains. 150 kilometres are the daily goal of the 7-hour island tour in an off-road vehicle. What you can already see from these two figures: there is a lot to see on this self-drive jeep safari on Rhodes. A little adventure for a day of holiday on the Greek island. With four-wheel drive vehicles and guides who know the area. The tour takes you along off-road tracks, asphalt roads, forest and side roads. You drive with a maximum of 8 other vehicles in the group. The Jeep Safari is not a rally. The experience is in the foreground, not the speed. Those who want to experience Rhodes in this way will enjoy the sightseeing tour in a 4x4.

The safari route is peppered with interesting stops. For guests from the north the programme includes the Seven Springs and the small mountain village Archipoli. Those starting in the south can look forward to a jeep tour to the west with a stop at one of the most beautiful reservoirs and one of the best viewpoints of the whole island. On both the North and South tour we will take a break to taste local products (honey, olive oil, local sweets) and get to know another part of Rhodes. There is always the possibility to enjoy lunch at a Greek tavern (not included in the price).

The Jeep Safari on Rhodes includes a transfer service. This means that you will be picked up at your hotel in the morning before we discuss the route of the day together with the guide and other guests and distribute ourselves to the off-road vehicles. If you are at least 21 years old and have held your car driving licence for 2 years, you can drive the Rhodes Jeep Tour yourself. Look forward to amazing places and new insights into the island world. Besides its beaches and its rich history, Rhodes has a spectacular landscape experience to offer. Both tours are top - my favourite is the south!

As I was on Rhodes for a longer period of time (3 weeks in total), partly privately and partly on business, I did both tours 12 days apart. An excellent way to get to know the island
