Detailed description

Half day sailing trip around the Malta island Comino with stop in the Blue Lagoon

Comino is the third smallest island of the Maltese archipelago and almost uninhabited. There are no shops or cars on the island - and all this makes this little jewel something special in the archipelago of Malta. Comino is famous above all for its natural caves and bays, where the water is so clear and dreamlike blue that it glistens on the white sea floor. The half day sailing trip around the Malta island Comino takes you from the harbour Mgarr on Gozo along the coast, with a view of the hills of Gozo and the fortress Fort Chambray. If the wind allows it, after a few miles the sails are set on the 80-man yacht and you set course for Comino.

If you would like to help with anchoring and setting sails, you can help the crew. Learn more about sailing in Malta, the most beautiful areas and the basics of the popular water sports, while the boat approaches its destination calmly. The dazzling sea colours of the bays and lagoons of Comino can already be seen from afar and this is exactly where the first swim of this half-day boat trip takes us. The ship anchors in the Crystal Lagoon, whose name is a promise. You can swim and snorkel in crystal clear water (equipment on board) or relax on board and enjoy the scenery.

Next stop of the sailing trip around the Malta island Comino is the beautiful Blue Lagoon, which is rightly the most popular destination on Comino. Between rocks and caves the water shines nowhere more beautiful and clear. You can already observe the underwater world from the boat. During the approximately 3.5-hour sailing trip you will be able to completely circumnavigate Comino with the sailing boat and swim in the cleanest water of the Mediterranean area on the way.

Please note that the journey to the starting point on Gozo has to be organized by yourself. Included in the price is the return transfer to Malta. Enjoy a beautiful holiday between the Malta Islands and a sailing trip around the paradise of Comino - without this small island the archipelago would not be complete.

Comino - is really in diamond! Pure fascination!

We were allowed to support the crew and the secluded bay of Xatt l-Ahmar is really a place worth seeing on this planet

A very successful offer

The coastal landscape of Gonzo with the fortress and the small bays and caves is just great. I made a lot of friends on this tour and give it 5 stars.

Great sailing tour

From the port to the Blue Lagoon and back - an awesome tour. I like the sea, boats and everything around.

Geile Segeltour

La Paloma in the ear

As soon as I saw the pretty harbor of Mgarr, the (long forgotten) catchy tune became active. La Paloma ade, the sailor song par excellence. And he never left for the entire tour on the beautiful boat. I enjoyed the atmosphere and can recommend the offer.

Tourist “pirates” on a two-master

There was a nostalgic feeling when I stepped into the (clean and well-maintained) sailboat. Carried by the sea breeze, we anchored off the island of Comino, which could also appear in a historical pirate film. The tour is great!

Inexpensive Malta-Comino sailing trip

I love sliding quietly on the water. There is something archaic about sailing boats and ships for me. Forces of nature carried us around the island of Comino to the Blue Lagoon and it was half a day that was a bit out of time ...
