Detailed description

East Gozo Segway Tour with a visit to the Mixta Cave

This Segway tour is anything but ordinary sightseeing in Gozo. An intense encounter with the green valleys and best viewpoints of the small neighbouring island of Malta. With Nadur we have chosen a starting point in the eastern part - from here the highlights we want to conquer by Segway are easily accessible. The Segway allows us to stay wenidg and to ride routes that are a bit tedious on foot and too remote by car. A highlight of our Gozo Segway tour is the Valley Mixta Cave, high up in the hills of Nadur. Nowhere else is the view of Ramla Bay and the reddish sands at sunset so breathtaking. The rock arch at the exit is curved like a window frame and opens the view into the ruggedly romantic landscape.

Those looking for great photo spots on the Maltese archipelago will enjoy some exciting stops on our Segway tour through the valleys of Gozo. Nadur alone, this small town with its wonderful people and some iconic monuments makes us warm to the culture of Gozo. We roll out of the town into the green valleys of the island, first and foremost the Ramla Valley with its lush fennel and bamboo plants. In the bay of San Blas we soak up the scent of the citrus trees and admire the high cliffs. We continue above the valleys to one of the oldest bakeries on the island and enjoy local specialities.

With the Kenuna Tower we wait until the finale of our Gozo Segway Tour and it is worthy of this landmark. 130 metres above the sea, the telegraph tower was built by the British in the 1840s. A spectacular place.

Finally: Environmentally friendly sightseeing tours now also on Gozo

I am thrilled. Rolling electrically and quietly through the idyllic Bingemma Valley and heading for the Mixta Caves: wonderful! Two unforgettable hours that passed far too quickly.
