All information about the sightseeing flight over Mallorca here at a glance
How far and where can I fly by helicopter in Mallorca in 30, 45 and 60 minutes?
Mallorca is so diverse that you can hardly manage to see everything in a week in a hire car. So how about a helicopter flight over Mallorca to get a fascinating panoramic view of this diverse island - from Playa de Palma with the so-called Ballermann in the south to the fascinating Cap Formentor in the north. The most beautiful corners of Mallorca can be found on the west coast, the steep coast in the Tramuntana mountains, where you can experience a completely different perspective and many hidden corners by helicopter. You might even get to see one or two celebrity estates from the air, as Claudia Schiffer, Michael Douglas, Dieter Bohlen, Peter Maffay and many actors and directors have lived on the west coast of Mallorca.
The map above gives you an idea of the radius and how long it takes to fly by helicopter. For example, if you take off near the island's capital Palma, you can explore a large part of the island within 30 minutes and get a first interesting overview of Mallorca as well as some places worth seeing. In Palma you can already see Bellver Castle, La Seu Cathedral and much more.
Unfortunately, the Marivent Palace of the royal family is left out, as flights are prohibited here for security reasons. But there is so much more to see. Fly along the west coast past places like Magaluf, Portals Nous, Santa Ponsa and Paguera. Discover the upmarket resort of Port d'Andratx from the air, fly over the romantic mountain village of Valldemossa and past Mallorca's highest mountain, Puig Mayor.
In the east of the island is the Sierra Llevante mountain range with the well-known coastal resorts of Porto Christo, Cala Millor and Cala Ratjada, in the south you will find the beach of Es Trenc, which is often compared to the Caribbean, as well as Playa de Palma, while in the north you will see the largest and longest bay in Mallorca, the bay of Alcudia. You will see many large villas, fincas and estates from above, which you cannot reach by car.
In the centre of the island you will find the so-called vegetable garden of the island, where everything you can get fresh on Mallorca grows: Oranges, lemons, almonds, olives, figs, potatoes, tomatoes and much more. You will also discover some of the old disused windmills that are so characteristic of Mallorca. You tell us what you want to see and the pilot will show you the most beautiful spots by helicopter. Use your time on holiday for a special, unforgettable experience.
Do you already know Mallorca well? Then a change of perspective is also worthwhile - discover the places you already know from the helicopter and reminisce. Take different pictures and take the memory of an unforgettable day home with you. Explore your next excursion destinations from the air - there's sure to be a lot on Mallorca that you haven't seen yet.
