Mallorca Tour in the Beetle Karmann Cabrio: A trip to the 80s in the East
This wonderful Mallorca tour in a Beetle Cabrio proves once again that Mallorca has many beautiful spots to offer away from the big tourist centres. In the east of the Spanish Mediterranean island you will experience a little time travel, if you are on the move with the multilingual tour guide. The retro style of the little beetle alone is a real eye-catcher. Black glossy lacquered with chrome and beige interior, the then still handcrafted car comes in perfect condition to your hotel to pick you up for this great round trip.
On a small scale we start to the lighthouse at Cala Ratjada, where you can enjoy a fabulous view over the whole coast of Capdepera. In good weather you can even see Menorca on the horizon. Accompanied by a bottle of wine per tour and a bottle of water per person, the Mallorca Tour in the Beetle Cabrio takes you to Artá, first to the sanctuary of San Salvador, a former monastery enthroned on top of a 500m high mountain. Afterwards you will visit a public finca, where you will learn a lot about the culture and history of the Mallorquines in a museum and enjoy a "pica-pica", a selection of tapas with typical local delicacies.
Final stop of the Mallorca Beetle Tour are the caves of Artá, where you will be literally initiated into the deepest secrets of the island. Awesome the huge halls of the stalactite cave with stalagmites up to 20 meters high. After about 5 hours of sightseeing around the island with beautiful views, unbelievable impressions and pleasant entertainment, you will be taken home in a chic oldtimer and brought back to the present by your tour guide.
