Starting from the historical centre of the town of Ribera towards the castle of Poggio Diana, you will be able to admire the gorge of the Verdura river. This will take you into the wildest areas of the countryside, along paths that are only accessible by this type of vehicle. You will cross river fords and subways and then ascend the highlands, with breathtaking views. From a hill near the prestigious "Resort Verdura" you can admire sceneries that stretch from the coasts of Saccensi to the coast of Eraclea Minoa. Continue along the suggestive and wild coast of Piana Grande, where you have the opportunity to admire the sea a few metres away.

Offraod quad bike tour through the province of Agrigento in Sicily - adventure route starting in Ribera
The province of Agrigento is perfect for an off-road adventure in Sicily. Gentle valleys and fields, the furrows of the rivers and many historical sites line the way through the landscape. In addition to the Valley of the Temples, for which Agrigento is so famous, there are other monuments from times gone by on the hills around Ribera and Sciacca. One of them is the ruins of the castle Poggiodiana. The ride around the weathered castle tower and the remains of the walls take us back to a bygone era on the quad bike tour from Ribera and give this ATV adventure in Sicily that certain something. We have two quad tours around Ribera on offer. Both start in the historic centre of this small town and are designed to provide driving pleasure outside the settlement. This means that we mainly drive on secondary roads that are made for off-road vehicles. Via this route we will enter a piece of authentic and wild Sicily.
No previous experience is required for the off-road quad bike tours through the province of Agrigento. Young people with an A 1 driving licence can already drive a quad bike from the age of 16, co-drivers should be at least 5 years old. Before the start of our quad tours you will learn the most important things about driving fun, safety and handling from the guides. We offer a 2-hour quad tour from Ribera to the castle of Poggodiana and on the way to Sciacca we get to know a very original part of the island, but above all an impressive nature. Especially the area along the banks of the Verdura river is an adventure. We will cross some fords of the river and cross underpasses before we reach the plateau and enjoy an impressive panorama over the wide landscape.
Even further into nature is our 4-hour Agrigent-Quad-Tour to Monte Sara. This mountain is surrounded by lush vegetation. Pines and eucalyptus trees grow in the forest and the Sicilian miniature palm tree is at home here. On the big quad bike tour a break is also planned to enjoy a Sicilian snack. Both quad bike tours finish at the starting point in Ribera again. If you want to ride a quad bike in Sicily and get to know areas that are away from the tourist centres, this adventure trip is the right choice.
