During the stand up paddling course in Fuerteventura you will learn paddle surfing or improve your technique. In Caleta de Fuste, the stand up paddling courses are taught by professional SUP trainer, so you learn from the best. The small group size allows for quick learning success. Paddling in shallow water is ideal for beginners, but you can also work on your paddling technique as an advanced paddler here. If you already have previous knowledge, the SUP instructor will help you to perfect your skills. Speed, balance and paddling technique – there is always room for improvement.
As a beginner, you will start with the stand up paddling in a sitting or kneeling position. Or you can stand up directly, just as you like. When you do the paddle surf, the most important thing is balance. Even with smaller waves it is not easy to keep your balance on the SUP board at the beginning. But after some time you will feel safe enough to stand up. A fall into the water is usually part of it and provides a welcome cool down on hot days. No matter in which position you paddle across the Atlantic, you will love the feeling!
