We meet early in the morning to take advantage of the calm winds for our balloon flight over Assisi. At the meeting point you will be greeted by an experienced pilot who will give you a warm-up briefing while the balloon is filled with air.  Once the balloon is inflated, you will board the balloon and we will take off for a "sightseeing flight". The balloon ride lasts about an hour, enjoying the breathtaking Umbrian countryside and sharing stories about the magical places in the region. After the exciting experience in the air, a special balloon baptism follows: a delicious breakfast at an Italian winery.

Preconditions

  • Minimum age 6 years
  • Not suitable for women who are pregnant or have back or heart problems. Not suitable for passengers who have had back/hip/leg surgery in the last 12 months. You must be able to stand unaided for one hour. No access to the toilet before and during the flight, only after the flight at breakfast.

Hot air balloon flight in Assisi (Umbria)

This hot air balloon flight is certainly one of the best ways to experience the richness of the region around Assisi and Perugia from the air. This unique balloon flight takes you up to 2000 metres above the Umbrian hills. Before we take off, there will be a relaxed warm-up and familiarisation session with our experienced pilot, who has already completed over 4,000 flights and never tires of admiring the landscape of his homeland from above and showing it to others. You are cordially invited to take part in the morning assembly of the basket and the balloon. When everything is well filled with air, it's time to take off: Ascend! And we take off. Within sight of our balloon flight is Assisi and the Basilica of San Francesco, one of the most venerable places in Italy. Nestled in the green hills at the foot of the Monti Martani.
