The van tour starts in the centre of Lisbon where the professional tour guide and driver will be waiting for you. In a small and individual group with a maximum of 7 participants the tour starts with a trip to the Atlantic coast in a comfortable van.
You will Spend the morning in Sintra. Historic palaces and a National Park, which are part of the UNSECO World Heritage, await you.
After your stay in Sintra, the excursion route will take you to Cabo da Roca, the most western point on the European continent. Here you have the best view of the Atlantic Ocean along the rocky coast and can take unique photos for your holiday album.Afterwards you continue along the Atlantic coast past the Praia do Guincho and the rock formation Boca de Inferno to Cascais. Before you return to Lisbon you will stop in Estoril.
During the van tour, the tour guide will always give you useful and interesting information about the different sights and will always be available to answer your questions.
In the early evening you will arrive back in the city centre of Lisbon and be back in time for dinner at your hotel or on your cruise ship.

If you are looking for an individual tour to the most beautiful sights at the Atlantic coast, you have come to the right place! No matter if you are a couple or a private group, the professional and multilingual tour guide will meet your needs in the best possible way. With a maximum of 7 participants, the Van Tour starts in the morning from the city centre of Lisbon.
The first stop of the tour is the small town of Sintra, which lies about 25 kilometres west of Lisbon. Sintra, with its numerous historical buildings and the surrounding national park, is the first cultural landscape to be declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In ancient times, Sintra was known as "Moonlight Hill", a place of prehistoric cults and rituals. In the 19th century it became the epitome of the romantic ideal, which is reflected in the style and construction of the impressive Palacio Nacional de Pena. A national park that combines exotic and local essences and other centuries-old palaces that attract tourists from all over the world await you here. After lunch (not included in the price) you will have the opportunity to taste the famous local pastry specialities: travesseiros and queijadas.
Then you will reach the Atlantic coast and the Cabo de Roca. At the westernmost point of the European continent, where "the earth ends and the sea begins", at an altitude of 140 meters above sea level along the rocky coast, you will have a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean and can take unique photos for your holiday album.
The excursion destinations will take you further along the Praia do Guincho, an extensive dune beach, which is a paradise for surfers, as well as a regular venue for surfing championships and past the rock formation Boca do Inferno (mouth of hell) to Cascais. Enjoy the charm of the former royal summer village during a walk in the bay or in one of the elegant cafés of the city. Before returning to Lisbon, stop at Estoril once more. The village is a famous setting for various scenes from national and international films. It was here that the British intelligence officer and later writer Ian Flemming gathered his inspiration for the James Bond 007 film "In Her Majesty's Walking Service", which was released in 1969.
