The bicycle tour in Porto starts in the city centre. From there you cycle together with a local guide through different parts of the city. You will pass through the gramd buildings and gardens and take the longest road from Porto, the Avenida da Boavista, to the sea. The closer you get to the coast, the more beautiful the landscape will be. Shortly before the coast you reach the beautiful city park, the "Parque da Cidade do Porto". It borders directly on the historical fortress, "Forte de São Francisco Xavier". Both together make a wonderful picture. In the park, there are many small lakes and paths on which one can stroll leisurely through the complex. The Atlantic is now very close. And already it spreads out in front of you, the seemingly endless ocean and the long promenade. Now you can cycle along the coast for a while and enjoy the breathtaking view. Portugal's coastline also shows its best side in Porto!
