The Parga & Sivota Islands cruise is the best way to experience the beautiful coast of the Greek mainland. On the way south, parallel to the mainland, we pass the capital of the region Thesprotia, Igoumenitsa, the small fishing village Plataria and the Sivota Islands. Before entering the spectacular Sivota Cave, we stop in the picturesque bay of the Blue Lagoon, where historians say the Arab pirates moored their ships in the Middle Ages. We anchor near the beach and you will have the opportunity to swim in the exotic blue waters of the lagoon. In the early afternoon we finally reach Parga. The picturesque village is blessed with typical island architecture, has an eventful history, winding beaches, emerald green waters, quiet bays, olive groves, and the remains of a Venetian castle.

Boat tour to the Blue Lagoon Sivota from Corfu harbour with Parga stay

Parga has a lot of beautiful things to offer: charm, history, greenery and beautiful bays. And the picturesque village on the west coast of Greece still belongs to the insider tips, the mass tourism has not yet gained a foothold. But especially sailors and boaters appreciate the marina of Parga and the infrastructure of the place, the picturesque village centre with its small taverns, shops and alleys. During the Parga & Blue Lagoon cruise, explore a beautiful spot on the Ionian Sea. Your day trip starts in the morning in Corfu harbour and you will have plenty of time on board to contemplate the coast between Corfu and the mainland. Already after the departure the Venetian fortresses of Corfu and the magnificent old town, the peninsula Kanoni and the palace of Mon Repos rise ashore.

The route runs along the mainland to the south, past the capital of the region Thesprotia, Igoumenitsa, and the small fishing village Plataria. Soon the Sivota Islands will become visible, surrounded by turquoise blue sea. We head for the Blue Lagoon Sivota and look forward to a great swim in this wonderful scenery. Maybe you take snorkeling equipment with you and explore the underwater world in the wonderful bay. We will anchor with the boat close to the beach, so you can swim there or stay on board.

By boat we continue to the breathtaking cave of Sivota, where a Greek submarine was hidden during the Second World War. During a photo stop you can take pictures in the cave and let the special atmosphere in the stone cathedral take effect on you. There will also be information about the history of the cave on board. On the lagoon tour we will circumnavigate some of the small historic islands before we finally reach the village of Parga. There you will have about 2 hours free time, which you can use for sightseeing, a stroll through the shops of the city or for relaxing on the beach. Our lagoon boat tour ends in the evening back in the port of Corfu and if you have booked the option you will be transferred back to your hotel. Mooring and departure times may vary depending on weather conditions. The motor vessel has a capacity of up to 270 passengers. On board you will find 2 decks, an air-conditioned main lounge, sanitary facilities, changing rooms and an on-board bar where you can buy drinks and snacks.
