Option 1: Etna Day Tour - 1900 meters

The day trip starts in Taormina and takes you by bus and a guide to the mountain station of Mount Etna at 1,900 m above sea level. There you will have a stay of about 3 hours with the possibility of an easy hike to see the recent lava flows and the now extinct Silvestri craters. Lunch or snack at a local restaurant (not included in the price). We will be back in Taormina around 4:00 pm.

Option 2: Etna Day Tour - 2800 meters

The Etna day trip starts in Taormina with a bus and a tour guide. Our first destination is the Mount Etna station at 1900 meters above sea level. There the cable car awaits us to take us up to the summit craters. At an altitude of about 2500 meters we continue by jeep. Guides from the Italian Alpine Club will accompany us to the craters and ensure our safety. A walk-through area allows visitors to see the possible activities from a good perspective.

Experience this fascinating spectacle on an Etna volcano tour from Taormina. We take you by bus to the Etna hut at 1900m above sea level. For those who have gained enough altitude here, an easy volcano hike around the Silvestri Craters is an option. Those who want to go all the way to the summit crater can book the cable car and jeep option. Then it goes up to 2800 meters. The tour is accompanied by mountain guides in the upper safety zone (explanations in English and Italian).
