Booking option: Ballooning in mainland Greece (near Thebes)

Experience a balloon flight over the Greek mainland between Athens and ancient Thebes. You will admire the panorama of a breathtaking landscape and enjoy the freedom that the altitude gives us (up to 900 meters). The tour includes the balloon flight of about 40 to 50 minutes (depending on the wind) and the balloonist baptism ( sparkling wine and certificate). If you booked the option with transfer from Athens (Glyfada, Syntagma or Omonia), we will pick you up from your hotel with a minivan or minibus (depending on the program and number of people). If you choose to travel by yourself, we will send you an SMS or email with all the details (meeting point and time) about 12 hours before the flight.

Greece: Ballooning between Athens and Thebes

A hot air balloon flight is not allowed in Athens itself, but over the breathtaking landscape between the Greek metropolis and ancient Thebes. Here you will experience an unforgettable balloon ride at a height of up to 900 meters. You will not only enjoy the peace and quiet, but also the panoramas that can only be experienced from above. The route will be determined by the thermals of the day, but we can say with certainty that the view of majestic mountains, blue lakes and green meadows will accompany us on this balloon flight near Thebes.

A professional balloon guide will familiarize you with all the safety precautions before the launch. Be there from the beginning as the balloon is filled with hot air and prepared for the flight. We will help you get into the basket and look forward to the lift off with you. For about 40 to 50 minutes we will be floating in the sky, enjoying everything that happens in front of our eyes.

The hot air balloon ride near Athens is a small group experience for up to 12 people (depending on the total weight of the passengers, as each balloon has a defined take-off weight). We offer transfer from Athens by minivan. The drive to the balloon take off site takes approximately 1 hour. If you wish, you can drive yourself to the launch site. After the flight, we will prepare a proper baptism for you, as is customary among balloonists. We will toast you with champagne and you will receive a certificate.

Conditions
