Discover the Genil River while canoeing in Andalusia: kayaking for the whole family

A lot of fun and a beautiful nature offer the perfect frame for an exciting kayak tour in Andalusia. Canoeing on the Genil River, you will experience the meandering river that rises in the Iznajár reservoir and meanders through the surrounding mountains. At the beginning of the kayak tour you will be equipped with the necessary equipment and you will take a seat in your inflatable double kayak for two - so that you can comfortably and safely get through the light rapids and waves of the river. The kayak tour on the Genil River is guided by an experienced guide who will discuss the route with you and give you important safety tips before you start.

During the kayak tour on the Río Genil, you will pass a stage I-II section. For the most part you will pass through calm waters with a few small rapids. Fun is guaranteed during this activity. Similar to rafting, this kayak tour also overcomes some small obstacles and trains coordination on the boat together with your partner. Carried by the moderate current of the river, you paddle in pairs in unison. Canoeing on the Genil River requires a good coordination between the two people in the kayak, because only if you work together and coordinate your paddling movements can you steer the kayak in the desired direction.

Fun for all the family

I took my two daughters along. It was one of their birthdays and I wanted to treat them both to something that they wouldn’t be expecting. My youngest was petrified but the team put her mind at ease and they weren’t bothered by her badgering them with heaps of questions! She ended up having the time of her laugh and didn’t stop going on about it for ages.

What a blast!

It was non-stop fun for me and my boyfriend. We wanted to try out white water rafting in Southern Spain! I'd done it before back home, but it was his first time ever! He was a bit nervous, but he soon got over it. It's exciting and we had a great time together on the river. We'd do it again without a shadow of a doubt.

Very enjoyable

It was the first time kanu rafting for our 2 sons, they have really enjoyed it! Our guide was very kind and caring all the time and also the team who recommended this activity to us!
