With Aegina, we reveal a little secret on this full-day sailing trip from Athens. Not many people know about this wonderful island with the impressive temple complex of Aphaia not far from the Greek capital. Our sailing trip through the Saronic Gulf starts in the marina of Alimos, where you will meet the skipper and be warmly welcomed on board our sailboat or sailing catamaran (depending on availability). With few passengers, this day trip is a very personal experience.
We sail from Athens through the Saronic Gulf first to the east side of Aegina and find wonderful bays with crystal clear waters. Sit back and enjoy the warm Greek sun in the middle of the Aegean Sea. Our skipper will head for a carefully selected bathing spot around Agia Marina, where we will drop anchor and enjoy time with a light lunch, among other things. We will then leave Agia Marina behind and sail around the northern shores to one of the clearest bays off Vagia, where there will be another shorter swim stop before sailing back to Athens after an unforgettable day at sea.

Detailed description
Sailing excursion from Athens through the Saronic Gulf
Discover the wonderful coast of Athens with the islands in the Saronic Gulf on a full-day sailing excursion. Not far from the hustle and bustle of the major metropolis of Greece, you will find peace, relaxation and maritime serenity while sailing off Athens. The Saronic Gulf is considered a favourite spot for Athenians and many sailors because of reliable winds and short sailing legs. On our full-day sailing trip, we navigate from Athens in a south-westerly direction and reach the small island of Aegina after a good two-hour sailing route. For many people from the capital, the nearby island is a place of retreat. Not much is mentioned about Aegina in tourist travel guides, which is why the temple island with its wonderful bays and various beaches is still considered an insider tip.
From the Alima Marina in Athens, we will first sail to the east coast of Aegina and anchor there at a carefully selected bathing spot. Then it's finally time to get into the water! For the snorkellers among the passengers, we have diving goggles and snorkels ready. For the full-day sailing tour to Aegina, we normally send our modern sailing catamaran out onto the water. However, depending on availability, one of our beautiful sailing boats can also be used for this activity. In either case, you will experience a semi-private excursion with few passengers and the best of 9 hours on board sailing, swimming and sunbathing. Sit back while the skipper picks up speed and navigates you through the blue lagoon of Athens. The Saronic Gulf has not earned this distinction for its scenic beauty alone. In fact, this sailing area off Athens is like another world.
