Option 1: Segesta Buggy tour "5 senses"

This is a buggy tour for all 5 senses: the safari through Segesta starts at the meeting point with a welcome and a detailed introduction to the handling of the buggies. The machines are well maintained and can be driven by any adult with a driving licence. In the group we will head towards Monte Pispisa, which overlooks the Segesta Archaeological Park. A green zone with pine and oak woods. We stop at Monte Pispisa to enjoy the wonderful view of western Sicily, from the Egadi Islands to the Gulf of Castellammare. We cross a rocky gorge to reach a viewpoint that shows the Segesta Temple from above. There is some information about the history of this emblem before we start the way back.

Option 2: Segesta Buggy tour "hot river"

The buggy tour through the Segesta landscape starts with a briefing regarding the route and the safe handling of the buggies at the meeting point. In a group and with a professional guide, you will drive along the vineyards and olive groves to an orchard to taste some of the delicious fruits that are grown in the area. These include grapes, mulberries and pomegranates. After a short stop, the tour continues to one of the warm rivers, which are fed by thermal water. There you have the possibility to take a hot bath. The off-road tour continues through a rocky gorge, at the end of which a viewpoint with a wonderful view of the Segesta temple awaits you. From there you return to the starting point.

The province of Calatafimi-Segesta is rich in history, culture and nature, with a multitude of monuments ranging from the Temple of Segesta to the natural thermal baths (Polle del Crimiso) and the many wineries. Discover this historic region on a buggy tour in Sicily. On secondary routes you will pass vineyards and olive groves, through gorges and forests. Over rocky gorges we finally reach the highlight of our tour with the off-road buggies: on a plateau the view opens up to the Segenta Temple, which although not completely finished, is one of the best preserved temples due to its isolated location. We will approach the Doric architectural monument from above up to 200 metres and will be able to capture its complete outlines.

Apart from archaeological treasures, the natural richness of the Calatafimi-Segesta region is considered to be extraordinary. This includes the thermal springs of Crimiso, which we will visit on our buggy tour "Hot River".
