Detailed description

Panarea and Stromboli Cruise from Milazzo

This mini-cruise from Milazzo takes us to the two most popular Aeolian Islands: Panarea and Stromboli. You will explore these island beauties off the coast of Sicily, with free time to explore at your own pace and watch the famous Sciara del Fuoco lava flow after dark.

The day trip from Taormina takes you by boat to the second smallest island in the archipelago. Panarea is also considered the most fashionable of the islands. Well-heeled Italians love the small island with its white houses and hidden coves, which is undoubtedly a little reminiscent of Greece. On our way across the Tyrrhenian Sea, we pass the beautiful bays of Cala Junco and Cala Zimmari. We drop anchor in the fishing port of Panarea and you can use the two-hour stop for a stroll through the streets, a break on the beach or a short visit to the prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese.

The second stop on this day trip is Stromboli, the volcanic island par excellence. This mountain of fire with its three craters is one of the most active volcanoes in the world. We dock at the port of Stromboli for a 2 hour stopover. Enough time to explore the charming streets of the village and sample the island's gastronomy. Enjoy an aperitif at sunset - before continuing by boat to the grand finale of this cruise: on the way back to Milazzo, we stop at sea to admire the active lava flow "Sciara del Fuoco".
