Booking option: Sicily: Boat trip from Trapani to the Egadi Islands

You board one of the largest and fastest motor boats at the dock in Trapani and will experience a comfortable crossing of around 40 minutes to Favignana. The Egadi island shows its best sea side on the approach, but don't underestimate the beauty of the small villages and their alleys. The 2-hour stop on Favignana gives you time to discover parts of the island on your own. Be it a guided tour, a bicycle tour or a ride on the small tourist train (information is available on board). A recommendation for sightseeing on the island is the famous museum Stabilimento Florio.

After exploring Favignana, we start the coastal tour from the harbour at around 12:30 pm, visiting the famous beaches of Cala Rossa, Bue Marino and Cala Azzurra. In one of these bays we plan a bathing break, depending on the weather. Afterwards, the crew will serve a meal of Sicilian cuisine on board (accompanied by wine and water). Finally, we set course for the port of Levanzo and enjoy the charming sight of the Mediterranean village, the only inhabited area on the island. Smaller than Favignana, the village of Levanzo is charming and the stay on the island lasts 1 hour.

For the return to Trapani, we take a route that takes us past the majestic Faraglione Rock.

Day Trip to Favignana & Levanzo from Trapani

If you would like to visit the Egadi Islands off the west coast of Sicily, take an excursion boat from Trapani and cross over. A day trip that may find place in your Sicily holiday. Especially if you want to visit Favignana. We welcome you on board the excursion boat in Trapani and pull up anchor for the trip through the Tyrrhenian Sea. After a pleasant 40-minute crossing, we arrive at the port of Favignana and you have every opportunity to get to know this jewel during a two-hour stay. Closely associated with the name Favignana is the former Florio tuna factory. Today, this jewel of industrial architecture houses a museum with multimedia rooms and video films about tuna fishing. Those who wish can join a guided tour or hire a bicycle and cycle the alleys of the town themselves.

Weather permitting, we will drop anchor for a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters. During a walk, you will have quickly entered the few streets of the small harbour village and enjoyed the simple white and turquoise beach houses.
