Booking option: Costa Brava: full-day tour from Barcelona
This one-day excursion from Barcelona takes us along the coast of the province of Girona, christened the Costa Brava over 100 years ago for its rugged relief and small pine-clad coves with crystal-clear waters. Our first stop is the small fishing village of Calella de Palafrugell, which has retained its traditional appearance. The town is of great architectural and scenic beauty and offers an incomparable setting with its many coves. We will have free time to visit the village, enjoy the scenery and take some excellent photographs.
We then take a walk along the Camino de Ronda to the neighbouring village of Llafranc. The walk takes about 30 minutes and is suitable for all ages. The Camino de Ronda runs the length of the Costa Brava and was once used to monitor maritime smuggling. Llafranc is also a small, elegant and charming coastal town with the typical charm of the villages of this coast. Our next destination is L'Estartit, a coastal town with an important port, internationally known as an important diving centre, as the Medes Islands are only one kilometre from the coast.
After lunch (not included) you will have some free time before boarding the Nautilus at 15:00. The trip takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. First we head for the islands and sail around them. We continue to the spectacular cliffs of the Montgrí massif, accessible only by sea and one of the most unspoilt areas of the Costa Brava. Finally, we arrive at Pals, an inland village perched on a hill. The village is almost entirely integrated into an impressive medieval complex.

Detailed description
Full-day tour from Barcelona along the Costa Brava
The tour of the Costa Brava starts at the North Bus Station in Barcelona. The first stop is the fishing village of Calella de Palafrugell. It is characterised by its traditional flair and shallow bathing bays. Here you will have plenty of time to let your gaze wander over the whitewashed houses. This is followed by a half-hour walk to the neighbouring village of Llafranc. These circular paths are called Caminos de Ronda. Here you always have a view of the sea and walk through enchanted pine groves past hidden cliffs. A view that can only be admired on foot.
Finally, you can enjoy a typical Spanish lunch in L'Estartit. The boat trip to the Islas Medes then begins. The archipelago is a nature reserve and is characterised by its diverse underwater world. You can take a direct look underwater through the panoramic windows of the boat. We continue to the spectacular cliffs of the Montgrí massif, which can only be reached from the sea and are among the most unspoilt areas of the Costa Brava.
Our last stop is Pals, an inland village perched on a hill. The village is almost completely integrated into an impressive medieval complex. The village is crowned by a cylindrical tower from the 12th century, visible from afar, which offers us a large terrace with an unbeatable panoramic view of the Costa Brava and its surroundings. A walk through the cobbled streets of the town centre takes us back in time. Semicircular arches, façades with lancet windows, stone balconies, all in the same style.

Customer Reviews Sightseeing tour at Costa Brava including boat trip to the Islas Medas
The most beautiful villages in the world
Conquer the Costa Brava from a completely different perspective. A journey into the Middle Ages. Although all the places visited were breathtaking, Pals was the absolute highlight. This is the most beautiful village I have ever been to. A very nice tour that shows us that Barcelona and its surroundings are not just sun and beach. It was a recommendation of the team, I can only thank them very much.
Our customers' questions
