Our Chrissi day trip starts with hotel pick-up, which is included for the area between Malia, Heraklion and Agia Pelagia. We travel in an air-conditioned coach to Ierapetra in the south of Crete and board the boat to Chrissi Island (ticket payable locally). The crossing takes about an hour and takes us across the Libyan Sea. Once on Chrissi, enjoy the fine dream beaches and crystal clear waters during a stay of several hours. In the late afternoon we take the boat back to Ierapetra and bring you back to the hotel. Please note that the boat ticket for the crossing as well as the Chrissi island fee are not included in the price (payable on site).

Chrissi island tour from the north of Crete (Heraklion and surroundings)

Just an hour's boat ride from Ierapetra, Chrissi is a small Greek island paradise off the coast of Crete, which has been declared an Area of Natural Beauty and protected as such for good reason. The golden beaches gave the island its name, the water shimmers in all imaginable shades of blue and of special value is the ancient cedar forest that covers the island - one of the oldest and largest in Europe. Our island tour takes you by bus and boat from Heraklion to Chrissi Island. The day trip starts with hotel pick-up, which is included for the area from Agia Pelagia to Malia. In an air-conditioned bus we drive from the north coast to the south coast of Crete and take the boat from Ierapetra to Chrissi.

The crossing takes about an hour and takes us across the Libyan Sea. Once we reach the port of Chrissi, the day is yours on this wonderful island. Swim, snorkel or sunbathe in this setting. Many of the most beautiful beaches on this small island can be reached on foot. Collecting shells, which sometimes colour the sand on the beaches red, is prohibited for nature conservation reasons, but the fossils and corals that the sea carries to the beach are always beautiful to look at.
