Our jeep safari adventure in Crete starts in the small village of Karteros, a few minutes drive from Iraklion, where we will have a 25-minute briefing and inform you about the route of the day. The vineyards and olive groves of Skalani lead us to the first stop at the Church of Saint Irene, where we will have time for a short visit. We will continue to the Archaeological Park of Archanes and the extraordinary site of Fourni, where, in addition to panoramic views of the Cretan countryside, we will see the contemporary theatre. For lunch we stop at a taverna (food and drinks are included). A highlight awaits us with the drive through the gorge of Karteros to the beach, where we enjoy a swimming break at the end. You will have the opportunity to take photos of some of Crete's most impressive landscapes during the Jeep Safari and get to know about each place we visit.

Discover the wild and beautiful sides of the Cretan landscape while enjoying views you would never have expected during our jeep safari from Heraklion. An off-road adventure through romantic olive groves and vineyards to the higher altitudes of Archanes, visiting the important church of Saint Irene, the archaeological sites of Juktas Ecological Park and a fascinating gorge. We start the jeep tour in Karteros, a seaside resort also popular with locals, just a few minutes' drive from Heraklion. The transfer to and from your hotel is included. The driver-guides will brief you for the adventure route at the meeting point and also give a short orientation about the jeeps in case you want to drive yourself. With the coast of Karteros behind us, we start the Heraklion Jeep Safari in a southerly direction and soon reach the beautiful vineyards and olive groves of Skalani. In the middle of the forest we find the beautifully situated church of Saint Irene. A place that invites us to a photo stop with its wonderful view.
