Come aboard this modern type of window-bottom boat in Agios Nikolaos and look forward to an underwater adventure. The first part of the boat trip takes you down just below the surface of the water. The hull of the boat is constructed with glass windows and guarantees a good view of the marine life in the harbour. During the trip you are about 2 metres below the water surface. You can see many different fish, and with a bit of luck, one of the turtles will appear for us. On board there are live commentaries in different languages and explanations about the most common species in the water. We spend the second part of the boat trip on deck with the best view of Agios Nikolaos and the coast.

See the real marine life in its natural  environment and the underwater rock formations in the bay of Aghios Nikolaos on board a Catamaran with spacious panoramic windows in the underwater part of the hull. This unique semi-submarine trip in Crete is an underwater adventure not only for children. The tour is accompanied by commentaries in several languages, so you also get an idea of the marine life off the coast of Crete.  In addition, there are some picture boards in the cabins that you can compare with the fish you will see. With a bit of luck, one of the giant turtle’s native to this area will also drop by and you can admire the majestic animals from your window seat.

Especially children sometimes can't get close enough to the window during this "dive" - and we share their enthusiasm for the secrets of the underwater world. Therefore, first part of the semi-submarine trip in Agios Nikolaos belongs to the amazing colours and species of the sea. The crew knows a few tricks to attract as many of the fish as possible to the submerged windows of the boat. From 2 metres below the water surface, you sit in the in the air-conditioned cabin and can watch what swims around the boat. The fact that the sea water off Crete is generally crystal clear is to our advantage on this submarine tour. After about 1 hour under water, we invite you back to the upper decks to enjoy the view of the coast of Agios Nikolaos, while we return to the port.

An entertaining adventure for the whole family in summer

Our experience on the semi-submarine in Agios Nikolaos was wonderful. The 28 panoramic windows offered fascinating insights into the marine life of Crete. The children were particularly enthusiastic about the colourful fish and the opportunity to see a turtle. The explanations on board were informative and easy to understand.
