The e-bike cycling tour in Crete takes you from Rethymno uphill through picturesque olive groves and you make the first stop at Halevi Monastery, which is surrounded by a wonderful garden. There you will see the single-nave church of Panagia with its flame-shaped windows and the ruin of the monastery building, which has been placed under a preservation order. You continue by e-bike to the village of Chromonastiri, which also belongs to the municipality of Rethymno and stands out for its Venetian houses. Due to the elevated location you have a breathtaking panoramic view over Rethymno and the Mediterranean coast. After the lunch, you ride the e-bike to the monastery of Aghia Irini (Saint Irene), talk to the nuns there and learn more about the history of this place before slowly starting your way back to your starting point.
