Detailed description

Kayak and snorkel tour on Menorca to the caves near Fornells (North)

The kayak and snorkel tour on Menorca combines two of the most popular water sports activities in a natural setting of particular value. The kayak excursion takes you from the base in Fornells along the varied north coast to imposing caves and past the cliffs of La Mola. Look forward to an exciting sporting excursion, to a marine reserve accessible only from the water and to the shoals of fish that you will encounter underwater. Equipment includes snorkeling equipment to explore the rich marine life of the marine reserve and caves. The 3 hour tour is accompanied by an experienced guide who will also tell you more about the cave's formation and the nature reserve with its animals and plants.

You don't need any previous knowledge for this kayak and snorkel tour on Menorca. Paddling is easy to learn and the north of Menorca is an ideal spot to make your first moves on the water. There are also double and single kayaks to choose from. After leaving the cliffs of La Mola behind us, we visit the caves Cueva Imágenes and Cueva del Inglés. Two examples of the power with which nature and water have created such deepenings in the north of Menorca. Parts of the caves lie beneath the surface of the water and open up huge spaces inside.

For the snorkeling tour we finally go with the kayaks to the small protected island Tirant, where we have crystal clear water around us and a colourful underwater world under us. On the way back of the kayak and snorkel tour Menorca, we stop at the beach of s'Arenelet in order to swim, have a short rest and enjoy the privileged natural scenery of Menorca with a little refreshment. During your active holiday you will feel the island more intensely and gain new perspectives from the water. With older children (12 years and older) the kayak and snorkel tour from Fornells is also suitable for a family adventure.
