Detailed description

Diving in Menorca: discover the underwater world of the Balearic Islands

The enchanting island of Menorca in the north-east of the Balearic Islands has experienced a significantly different touristic development than the neighbouring island of Mallorca. Since about half of the island is a protected landscape and nature reserve, and the whole island is protected as a biosphere reserve, there are many unspoilt areas to be discovered on Menorca. The often rocky landscape offers from the rugged cliffs in the north, with gorges similar to fjords and some natural harbours to the softer hills in the south with beaches and flat coastline.

The shallow coast in the south of the Spanish Balearic island Menorca invites you to dive. With this diving course in Menorca, you can explore the underwater world of this picturesque island. As a beginner diver or a newcomer, the professional diving school offers the so-called trial diving. Get to know the correct handling of the diving equipment in a clear and closed environment. Practice breathing underwater, how to get water out of the goggles, pressure equalization techniques and hand signal communication underwater according to PADI guidelines. A second open water dive completes your Menorca diving course. The necessary equipment, the training by the diving professional and a certificate are included.

If you have already had your first experience, this diving trip to Menorca is an excellent opportunity to explore the fascinating underwater world around the Balearic Island. Boat trips take you to some of the island's best dive sites: the reefs of Isla del Aire, the caves of Cap d' en Font and two well-preserved wrecks off Menorca are just some of the many destinations covered by this dive excursion. With the diving licence or the certificate from the previous trial dive, you are allowed to dive up to a depth of 12 meters under the guidance of the dive guide. The necessary equipment is also provided for this course in Menorca. Experience the relaxing calmness and weightlessness of Menorca while diving - time will fly by. Can we take you on a dive into the fascinating underwater world of Menorca?
