Detailed description

Sightseeing in Arrecife with the red tram - great city tour on Lanzarote

Discover the capital of Lanzarote with a real Arrecife sightseeing experience. In the city on the south-east coast there is a small train that takes you on 2 different routes through Arrecife and comfortably reaches the most beautiful places. Best of all, you can get on and off wherever you like to see the sights of Arrecife, swim on the city beach or visit a museum. The hop-on-hop-off system of this Arrecife Sightseeing Tour gives you the freedom to experience a guided city tour with audio commentary (available in 7 languages) while remaining flexible. You can discover Arrecife individually and see what interests you on the way, or enjoy the complete tour of the city.

The Arrecife Sightseeing Railway runs on the red and blue lines and connects the most important sights at 16 stops. Those who visit Arrecife on Lanzarote should have been at least once at the beautiful beach of El Reducto and enjoyed the crystal clear water. You reach the beach with the City Sightseeing Tour comfortably on both lines: Stop 3 on the red route or stop 6 on the blue route. Besides many possibilities for city sightseeing in Arrecife, the 24 hour ticket includes further extras, as for example a typical souvenir from Arrecife, tapas with drinks and a ticket for the visit of the Castillo de San José. You can reach the castle by getting off at stop 7 (red route) or stop 2 on the blue route.

Access to the Archaeological Museum of Lanzarote is also included. The collection of excavations and treasures is housed in the Castillo San Gabriel (stops 5 and 8), built to defend the port and completed in 1598. It is located on a small offshore island.

Good for a rough overview.

Of course you do not learn as much as with a guide, but a nice thing if you do not have much time to get a rough overview.

Gut für einen groben Überblick.

Man erfährt natürlich nicht so viel wie mit einem Guide, aber dennoch eine schöne Sache, wenn man nicht viel Zeit hat um einen groben Überblick zu bekommen.
