Detailed description

Discover the beautiful coast of Formentera from Es Pujols with the SUP

Ascend, paddle and enjoy - holidays can be so easy and relaxed. You start at the Playa of Es Pujols, the holiday centre on the north coast, for a 3-hour expedition on the water and discover a new island feeling while standing paddling on Formentera. Together with your guide you decide in which direction and to which destinations the tour should lead: Caves, cliffs, beaches, bays. There is so much to discover on the water side of Formentera. And no matter which direction you take, the scenery of this island beauty not far from Ibiza is fascinating and tempting from every side. You can explore so many regions and places with the SUP on Formentera and move under the open sky. Stand up Paddling is intensive whole body training and relaxation for head and mind. Water hiking in a quiet way. A sport that suits all ages.

You stand upright and in a good position on a kind of surfboard and pull the long paddle through the water on the left or right side. You'll be amazed at how many nautical miles you can make without a motor, just by your muscle power. Even beginners do not have to be afraid to go on the water with the board. At the beginning of the Formentera SUP Tour, your guide will show you where you stand on the board, how to raise your body and how to use the paddle correctly. Driving SUP is relatively easy and quick to learn. And Formentera is the right holiday destination for SUP training and especially for expeditions. At the long Playa Es Pujols you will find a suitable place to start and for the first test trains. The water is shallow on this side of the coast and you can always drive parallel to the beach for the first few meters.

What can you expect on the tour? Lots of nice things. Formentera's coastline has remained largely natural. Here, no massive buildings obstruct the view of the landscape. In addition, clear, turquoise blue water, through which you can still look down to the seabed even at great depths. It is not without reason that Formentera is often called a small Caribbean because of its intense colours between the beach and the sea.

The guided SUP Tour Formentera takes place with a minimum of 4 participants. Children from 14 years can paddle with an adult if they have swimming skills. In addition to the guide, the equipment is included. After 3 hours of water sports on Formentera and some highlights between the coast and the sea you reach Playa Pujols again.
