Fuerteventura may be less wide, but it has a north-south extension of more than 100 kilometres and offers with Corralejo in the north a different picture than the peninsula Jandia in the south. Some say that one cannot finish one's holiday in Fuerteventura without having once seen the paradisiacal beaches at the south. In accordance to this, the wish of many vacationers from the north to travel to the south for a day excursion is very big. The Jandia Express by bus takes you there directly and as fast as possible. The Fuerteventura day trip includes collection from Corralejo, Caleta de Fuste and Puerto del Rosario. In Jandia you have between 4 and 5 hours free time to get to know the village, the dream beaches and the surroundings better.

Jandia is a popular holiday resort, especially among German tourists, and is not only a highlight for beach holidaymakers. It is also a wonderful place for shopping. Besides shopping centres, the village offers fresh markets as well as a handicraft market with many souvenirs and local products. The gastronomic offer in Jandia also leaves nothing to be desired. Numerous bars and restaurants offer good Canarian food. If you prefer to keep moving during your day trip, you can take a short walk along the beach towards Morro Jable, which is famous for its beautiful old town, or walk north to Playa de Sotavento de Jandia. This section is part of the 21 kilometres long sandy beach, which reaches to the southern tip of the island and attracts many tourists because of its Caribbean flair. On the other side of the coast is the Jandia Peninsula Nature Park.

The excursion from Corralejo to Jandia by bus is an express connection. Both places are a little more than an hour's drive apart. This means some travel time, but also that you will get to see a lot of the island and its beaches during the cheapest bus transfer along the coastal road. The return trip from Jandia is scheduled for 03:30 pm. About one hour later you will reach Caleta de Fuste again and finally Corralejo in the north.
