Challenging west coast hike Güi-Güi Gran Canaria

Hike in one of the most valuable and species-rich nature reserves in Gran Canaria: discover the great diversity of Güigüi.

Price overview

Hike along the wild coast

Booking option: Gran Canaria Hike on the West Coast

We start by scrambling up to the Degollada de Agua Sabina, a viewpoint with an incredible panoramic view of the coastal massif of the Güi Güi Reserve. After this break, we descend through a mountain range that is over 14 million years old and marvel at the endemic flora and fauna of the west of the island. Gorges and high cliffs will characterise our steps as we discover why this place has been declared a Special Protection Area and future National Park. The walk will take us to the westernmost virgin beaches of Gran Canaria, sandy coves that seem to have never been touched by man. In fact, they are only accessible on foot or by boat. Here you can swim, rest and, if you have brought a picnic, recharge your batteries. Then it's back to the starting point, where the walk ends at around 5:00 pm.

I did not have to go hiking alone

We had a nice crew and it was much nicer to walk alone.

Ich musste nicht alleine Wandern

Wir hatten eine nette Truppe, mit der es wesentlich schöner war, als alleine zu wandern.

Easy tour with child possible

We did the tour with our daughter and it worked out fine, was not too difficult. The cave was of course particularly exciting

Leichte Tour auch mit Kind möglich

Wir haben die Tour mit unserer Tochter gemacht und es hat problemlos geklappt, war nicht zu schwierig. Die Höhle war natürlich besonders spannend
