Gran Canaria Experience Tour Red Canyon

Travel back in time to Gran Canaria on this guided day tour to the southeast of the island, a real gem with its landscapes and history. We start the excursion at the Mirador de El Guriete, which gives us a stunning view of the Caldera de Tirajana. In Santa Lucía de Tirajana we enjoy a walk through the streets with white houses and palm trees. There you can learn some of the stories about the ancient inhabitants of the area that are still hidden in the streets and people.

After awakening our senses, we will go to the picturesque place that lies under the huge palm grove that makes up Palmeral del Ingenio. From there, a pleasant path leads to the Barranco de La Sorrueda. In this area you can taste fresh fruits and other products in the shade of the palm trees and see the water flowing in the rainy season. You can also admire Canarian handicrafts and buildings made from natural raw materials.

A highlight of the Red Canyon adventure tour is the indigenous caves of La Fortaleza. This enclave will put you in touch with the culture of the indigenous people, and it will be like a trip back in time. The day ends with a wonderful swim in the fishing village of Tufia, where we will see caves again, but this time near the coast. The black volcanic sand and clear water will make for an unforgettable experience. The tour includes diving goggles and snorkel to explore the seabed full of life.
