There you will have plenty of time to explore the traditional and full-of-life city, which is jam-packed with sightseeing opportunities! There are an array of beautiful buildings, churches and squares in Las Palmas. Pop along to the beautiful city beach "Las Canteras" which is also known as the European Copacabana. During your trip to Northern Gran Canaria, you can visit the historic district of Vegueta, the Cathedral, Bishop's Palace, the Columbus Museum and a one-of-a-kind market hall.
On the Triana shopping street, you will find plenty of boutiques during the trip in Gran Canaria. From the Avenida Maritima you can enjoy a wonderful view of the city, the beautiful marina and the third largest trading port in Europe "Puerto de la Luz", which you will see up close afterwards. Stroll around and explore the lively district of Santa Catalina with its many cafés and street stalls. The Gran Canaria excursion then continues to the gorgeous Gran Canarian Botanical Gardens. This lusciously landscaped garden is the biggest botanical garden in Spain and is well worth the visit. Expect to be blown away by the sheer thousands of different plants there. Take in the romantic ambience and relax at the waterfalls in Gran Canaria.
Last but not least on the day trip in Gran Canaria, is a visit to the impressive crater at Bandama volcano. It is located near Tafira, has a diameter of 1000m and is about 200m deep. The houses built on the crater floor, once inhabited by a farmer and his family, are now empty. You can see everything for yourself on a hike to the bottom of the crater. From the Pico de Bandama at 570m high you get a great view of Las Palmas and with a bit of luck of the Teide as well over in Tenerife. You then get dropped back by bus to the south and southwest.

Schöne BilderWir konnten ganz tolle Bilder machen. Man muss es unbedingt mal gesehen haben.
Good tourThe tour was already well organized and executed. The volcano is imposing, the city of Gran Canaria worth seeing. Only this was too long for our 2 year old. So I would not recommend for the smallest. Otherwise everything was great.
Ansonsten alles top.
