Detailed description

Discover the culinary side of the island on the tapas tour on Fuerteventura

The Canary Islands have so much to offer, but besides the fantastic beaches and breathtaking landscapes, the gastronomy, as in the whole of Spain, can not be forgotten. On this Fuerteventura tapas tour, you can easily drive across the island and directly visit three fincas, where the owners proudly present their products and you can of course also try them.

First we go to the finca of Leo, on which he cultivates the cactus fig "tuna indio". From this he prepares various fruit juices, mojo sauces and jams. On your visit you will of course try his specialties. The Fuerteventura tapas tour continues to the finca "La Flor de Fuerteventura" of Francisco. He produces his own olive oil and explains the process of production and gives insights into his plantation - ultimately, you can help with some steps of the olive oil production and taste the delicious oil with bread.

Finally, the tapas tour on Fueteventura will take you to the "La Gambuesa" goat finca of Lorenzo in Juan Gopar. Here you can taste award-winning Canarian goat's cheese and the Pella de Gofio - a popular and traditional, bread-like side dish on the Canaries. And if you do not have enough, you can also cuddle his goat's and thank them for the delicious cheese.

Enjoy a few delicious hours on the Fuerteventura tapas tour and learn a lot about the local cultivation possibilities on the island.
