Find the most beautiful volcano of Fuerteventura in the interior of the island. In the minibus we drive to Tiscamanita and hike from there on gravel paths to the volcano. Besides the idyllic tranquillity, we will also notice the cultivated areas around the volcano. At an altitude of 100 metres, we will reach a viewpoint where we will take a break and enjoy the unique view. The entrance to the crater is at an altitude of about 350 metres and the ascent is easily manageable for experienced hikers. After about 2.5 hours, we reach a typical Canarian farm, an aloe vera farm or a cheese dairy, depending on the day of the hike. A small snack of local products such as goat cheese and red wine is included in this hike.

Really great tour away from tourism
I can only recommend the tour with Kristina. It was not only her personable and enthusiastic manner that made the day perfect, the hike was also an experience. Our small group was traveling alone so you could just enjoy nature and the amazing view. The visit to the finca rounded off the excursion. Ich kann die Tour mit Kristina nur empfehlen. Nicht nur ihre sympathische und begeisternde Art hat den Tag perfekt gemacht, auch die Wanderung war ein Erlebnis. Unsere kleine Gruppe war allein unterwegs und so konnte man einfach die Natur und den wahnsinnig tollen Ausblick genießen. Der Besuch in der Finca hat den Ausflug abgerundet. Since I am not used to mountaineering, I respectfully booked the volcano tour with Kristina and I am absolutely thrilled. Care and organization were great. The tour is demanding but feasible and with Kristina all participants are in good hands and get their questions answered in English and German and are provided with lots of interesting information by Kristina. The visit to the finca was also very nice and impressive. Kristina knows how to inspire the participants and responds to every single participant. Ich habe, da ich Bergsteigen nicht gewöhnt bin, respektvoll die Vulkantour bei Kristina gebucht und bin total begeistert. Betreuung und Organisation waren super. Die Tour ist anspruchsvoll, aber machbar und bei Kristina sind alle Teilnehmer gut aufgehoben und bekommen in englischer und deutscher Sprache ihre Fragen beantwortet und werden von Kristina engagiert mit vielen interessanten Infos versorgt. Auch der Besuch auf der Finca war sehr schön und eindrucksvoll. Kristina versteht es, die Teilnehmer zu begeistern und geht auf jeden einzelnen Teilnehmer ein. We as inexperienced (mountain) hikers faced the tour with open-minded, skeptical expectation: We did not want to be coached by a coach through the country and half-asleep listen to the comments of a tour guide. So Kristina´s offer was quite right. She is very committed to a cause that one would rather expect from locals. But she does that with her (and her husband) and is very careful. Wir als ungeübte (Berg-) Wanderer standen der Tour mit aufgeschlossener, skeptischer Erwartung gegenüber: Wir wollten nicht mit einem Reisebus durch das Land kutschiert werden und halbverschlafen den Ausführungen eines reiseleiters zuhören. So kam uns Kristinas Angebot ganz recht. Sie engagiert sich da sehr in eine Sache, die man eher von Einheimischen erwarten würde. Aber sie macht das mit ihnen (und ihrem Mann) zusammen und ist dabei sehr umsichtig. Die Wanderung war sehr gut vorbereitet und bot uns inhaltlich sportlich einiges an Abwechslung. Feedback on the hike: With Kristina as your guide, you have a great collaboration partner for the place. She loves the island, the people there and also dealing with us tourists. Class hiking, although we had "storm conditions" and the climb up to the volcano was so very demanding, for us as a fitness traveler an exciting challenge. The visit to the finca of Pablo with wine, goat cheese, tomato and olive oil tasting was also great. We sang and laughed with Pablo and Kristina. Small guide on his estate we had, as well as visit a small local bakery (very nice). We were also able to experience camels, donkeys and goats. Pick up at the hotel was very good. Feedback zu die Wanderung:Mit Kristina als Guide habt ihr eine tolle Zusammenarbeitspartner für Ort. Sie liebt die Insel, die Menschen dort und auch den Umgang mit uns Touristen. Klasse Wanderung, obwohl wir „Sturmverhältnisse“ hatten und die Steigung hoch auf den Vulkan damit sehr anspruchsvoll war, für uns als Fitnessreisende eine spannende Herausforderung. Der Besuch auf die Finca von Pablo mit Wein, Ziegenkäse, Tomaten und Olivenöl Verkostung war auch großartig. Wir haben mit Pablo und Kristina gesungen und gelacht. Kleine Führung auf seinen Gut haben wir gehabt, sowie Besuch einer kleinen lokalen Bäckerei (sehr nett). Auch Kamele, Esel und Ziegen durften wir erleben.
Abholung im Hotel verlief sehr gut. Kristina rief am Vortag an und hatte sich vorgestellt und ein paar infos zur Ausrüstung gegeben.
