An exciting round trip along the Masca road and through the Teide Natural Park. Discover the wonderful sides of this island from Puerto de la Cruz, outstanding destinations like Los Realejos, Icod el Alto, La Corona and Montes de la Guancha or Garachico, Los Silos and Buenavista. You can admire the green volcanic landscape in the valley of El Palmar, the mountain village of Masca and Santiago del Teide. Other locations on the route include Erjos - El Tanque - Camellos Center - Mirador Garachico - Icod de los Vinos and Drago de Icod. The jeep safari takes around 7 hours. There will be several breaks, which you can use to do some sightseeing and take some great photos. A stop for lunch (not included) has also been factored into the schedule. The excursion ends back in Puerto de la Cruz.

Detailed description

Masca jeep safari on Tenerife – this will be an unforgettable experience

You will start the Masca 4x4 jeep safari on Tenerife in convoy with the other members of the group. The tour starts in the north of the island at the port of Puerto de la Cruz. The jeeps will travel in convoy through amazing forests, which are inaccessible to normal cars, as well as some of the traditional villages and volcanic areas. The first stop on the Masca jeep safari is the viewpoint at La Corona, where you can admire the majestic view across the Orotava Valley.

Don't forget your camera! We will then continue along the windy roads through San José and La Tabona, as we head towards La Guancha and Icod de los Vinos and Garachico, passing charming towns in their natural state along the way. On the Masca jeep safari you will also visit the famous Drago de Icod dragon tree. From Garachico, you will continue to Los Silos, where we will visit a typical banana plantation and find out some interesting background about how bananas are grown.

The next stop on the eventful Masca jeep safari on Tenerife is in Buenavista, from where we will proceed along narrow roads to El Palmar and Carrizal before we finally reach Masca, which is one of the most important villages in the Canary Islands. You can look forward to seeing the incredible views of the great gorge at Masca! Now the route will take you uphill in your jeep towards Santiago del Teide. When we reach the top, you have the choice of eating lunch if you want or going for a ride on a camel. (Lunch and camel ride are not included in the price). From Santiago del Teide, you will then drive through El Amparo as you head back towards Puerto de la Cruz.
