Tenerife is perfect for a family holiday with children! There are so many places to discover on the island where young and old will never be bored. Of course a family holiday also includes minimum a day at the beach! The most famous beaches of Tenerife are around the towns of Los Cristianos, Costa Adeje, Puerto de la Cruz and Fanabé. You will also find child-friendly beaches near the port, as the sandy beach slopes gently into the sea and is often protected by a breakwater, so there is no strong swell.
