If you haven't heard of Siam Park's gigantic water park, then it’s time you did. Treat yourself to a fun-filled day out in Tenerife. Siam Park has been open since 2008 in Costa Adejo in the south of Tenerife. There is something for everyone spread over 185,000 square kilometres. A wide variety of water attractions have been imported from all over the world to provide you with the best experience out there. The construction of the huge park, which is modelled on the old kingdom of Siam (better known as Thailand), took four years from start to finish. The entire park radiates and Asian ambience. The Royal Palace revives the history of the Kingdom of Siam. Come across huge animal figures, including elephants and dragons, which are the icing on the cake when it comes to Asian flair.

The waves in the wave pool are up to three meters high. There is also a surf school, but you can also surf there without attending a course. Siam Park has 14 different water slides, one of which is 28 metres high and lets you slide directly into a world full of fish. Float down the river on massive rubber rings while taking in the views. You can see everything from the amphitheatre!

Some new additions to the theatre are Disney’s Frozen and Riverdance.

Dinner begins at around 8pm and about an hour later the artists jump on stage and perform like there’s no tomorrow. The awesome combination of dinner and a show is an ideal option for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries or the like.

There is another dinner show which is worth watching, the marvellous “Music Hall Tavern Show”. It is a magnificent mix of singing and comedy. They have really made the most of the humour in the characters and bring the films to life on stage. This show is hilarious and promises to be the funniest night on your holiday.

There is a lot to see in Tenerife and you can see a lot more if you’re in a car. There are idyllic, small villages to discover, which can be easily reached by car.
