An approximately 7-hour tour of the island in an off-road vehicle with numerous breaks and photo stops awaits you. After picking you up at the hotel, you will go on a discovery tour with other participants from Playa de las Americas. The route leads via La Camella - La Escalona - Arona - Vilaflor - Parque Nacional del Teide - Roques de García - Pico Viejo - Mirador de Aripe - Chirche - Chío - Tamaimo - Santiago del Teide - Mirador de Masca - Masca - Arguayo - Guía de Isora and back to the starting point. The longest break is in the Teide National Park, where you have the opportunity to admire the natural wonder and visit the most important vantage points. Further stops are planned in Masca and Tamaimo, where you can have lunch (not included).

Detailed description

The most beautiful sites of Tenerife: Jeep Safari Teide + Masca

We start with the jeeps for up to 8 people in Playa de las Américas. From here we will drive through La Camella to the viewpoint La Escalona, where we will stop about 15-20 minutes. Here we inform the guests about the route of the tour and about the south of Tenerife. Then we will move towards Vilaflor, the highest village in Spain. Here we will also take a short break in order to enjoy the dreamlike views.

The jeep safari to Teide and Masca now continues to a very special viewpoint, where we'll have another 15 min stay to enjoy the wonderful views. If the weather permits, you can even see the neighboring island Gran Canaria. The jeep safari Teida + Masca leads us to the Teide National Park, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There we will spend up to 45 minutes. During this time we will drive through the park and stop at the main viewpoints: Roques de García and Pico Viejo. We will also learn how the various volcanic eruptions have shaped this unique landscape and its geological forms.

Afterwards, the jeep safari Teide + Masca continues towards Chío, we visit the Mirador de Aripe-Church and finally reach Tamaimo, where there will be time for an authentic lunch from the Canarian cuisine (not included). We drive with the jeeps further to Santiago del Teide and from here to the first viewpoint of Masca. From here we follow the serpentine road to the village of Masca, where we stay for 45 min to get to know one of the most history-charged villages of the island. Finally we drive from Masca  via Arguayo and Guía de Isora back to Playa de las Américas.
