Demanding and exceptional - this is the hike to the Torrent de Pareis in the west of Majorca, which you will complete with a professional guide who knows the area well. The excursion lasts between 5 and 6 hours and requires good equipment as well as fitness and sure-footedness. Hikers must be prepared for slippery stones and sometimes they have to overcome boulders.

The Torrent de Pareis is normally well accessible between May and October, but after rain it can take 10 days until the gorge is dry again. Hikers are rewarded by fabulous views and the mouth of the gorge in Sa Calobra. In the beautiful bay you can refresh yourself after the hike. The transfer is included in this offer.

Detailed description

Adventurous climb down through the gigantic Torrent de Pareis

An old smugglers' trail takes you first in a zig-zag down to the bed of the Torrent de Lluc. The washed gravel following you reach the confluence with the Torrent de Gorg Blau, rushing up here through the underground La Fosca. Here, on S'Entreforc, is the actual Torrent Pareis. The next (and last) about 3 miles to the estuary have it in you! Boulders of all sizes and shapes allows only a slow pace. Concentration and stamina are required. You climb, slide, jump and crawl. Occasionally, you also use a short rope.

Team spirit is required. Like ants on a giant gravel road we cross the torrent. The source of the font Degotís signals the end of the difficult part. From here the torrent widens and the rocks get smaller, until only gravel crunches beneath your shoes. Soon you reach the small pebbly beach and the turquoise sea. The jump in the waves you have now earned! By rock-hewn tunnel you reach the promenade and the many tourist cafes of Cala de Sa Calobra. The return trip via a 12 km long serpentine road and is an additional experience.

An unforgettable experience!!

After numerous trips through the Tramuntana lured me the Torrent de Pareis but very. But alone? Too much Adventurous I had read and heard a few days just before had again a hiker rescued by helicopter after they had slipped and his leg had broken. As the supply of Sunbonoo just came to law and fact: Top organizes guided us Andreas Mar Y Roc safe and sound by the tremendous rock formations of the Torrent de Pareis. Incredibly his equipment; Since it had rained heavily a few days earlier, he wore besides various ropes even a mini boat with them to possibly be able to transport our backpacks safely over the water-filled pools. Thanks to the experience our nice group reached after 6 hours safely the bay of Sa Calobra. Should also be noted that the transfer from the hotel or from the pick-up point included in the price, which is certainly not a foregone conclusion! And 4 day soreness are also free !! Toll also the Sunbonoo service: Andrea sent me a voucher to right after the online booking via email; at the same time they booked me a at Mar Y Roc, so I no longer had to take care of yourself to me absolutely. Service as it should be, but unfortunately today no longer to be found somewhere! I can Sunbonoo unreservedly recommend and will definitely stay there again!

Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis!!

Nach zahlreichen Touren durch die Tramuntana lockte mich der Torrent de Pareis doch sehr. Aber allein? Zu viel Abenteuerliches hatte ich gelesen und gehört, gerade vor ein paar Tagen musste wieder eine Wanderin mittels Helikopter geborgen werden, nachdem sie ausgerutscht war und sich das Bein gebrochen hatte. Da kam das Angebot von Sunbonoo gerade zu Recht und tatsächlich: Top organisiert führte uns Andreas von Mar Y Roc sicher und wohlbehalten durch die gewaltige Felslandschaft des Torrent de Pareis. Unglaublich seine Ausrüstung; Da es wenige Tage zuvor stark geregnet hatte, trug er neben diversen Seilen sogar ein Mini-Schlauchboot mit sich, um ggf. unsere Rucksäcke sicher über die wassergefüllten Gumpen transportieren zu können. Dank seiner Erfahrung erreichte unsere nette Gruppe nach 6 Stunden wohlbehalten die Bucht von Sa Calobra. Anzumerken ist noch, dass der Transfer vom Hotel oder vom Pick-Up-Punkt im Preis inbegriffen ist, was sicher keine Selbstverständlichkeit ist! Und: 4 Tage Muskelkater sind ebenfalls kostenlos!!
Toll auch der Sunbonoo-Service: Andrea schickte mir den Voucher direkt nach der Online-Buchung per Email zu; zeitgleich buchte sie mich bei Mar Y Roc ein, so dass ich mich um absolut nichts mehr selbst kümmern musste. Ein Service, wie er sein sollte, aber leider heute kaum mehr irgendwo anzutreffen ist! Ich kann Sunbonoo ohne jede Einschränkung empfehlen und werde ganz sicher wieder dort buchen!
