The Legend of Katmandu
The Legend of Katmandu begins a long time ago and with a red jewel, called Desirata, who has the power to travel through time and to bring mythical beings to life. The mighty Yeti, Boro® the Great, was to protect Desirata from those who would use the jewel for selfish purposes. But then the adventurer Kilgore Goode™, who had heard of the mighty jewel and followed him to the Himalayan mountains, came along.
Drawn from the red jewel, he took him out of the mountain, but Boro® noticed the theft and chased the adventurer. Kilgore Goode™ escaped to a house at the foot of the mountain and hid - but then the jewel unleashed its incredible power and transported Kilgore Goode™, the house and Boro® through space and time to Mallorca.
Landed on the head, the house now inhabits Kilgore Goode™, Boro® and some mythical figures, and nothing is as it seems ...
The park
Whether a family trip or a day among friends and adrenalin junkies, in the Kathmandu Park no one will get bored!
Family fun
First you enter "The House", where the history of Katmandu in Mallorca began. Here you can walk through a surreal environment where nothing is as it seems: surprises, with interactive stations, optical illusions and lots of fun. Find the way out of the mirror labyrinth, escape the shark or walk through a circular colour tunnel. Explore an enchanted music forest and meet Boro® in the ice cave. A journey through a breathtaking dream world awaits you in here.
But the family fun is still far from over. In the "KATLANTIS Splashpark", the little ones get their money's worth and can play in the shallow water. There are "KATLANTIS Softplay", the underwater world for climbing, rollicking and playing, and that even over five levels. In the "4D Experience" you and your family can expect an exciting journey through four-dimensional adventurous worlds.
You crave for even more adventure and excitement? Then slip into the role of a cowboy in the Wild West at "Desperados" or fight a group of cowboy robots in "Los Banditos XD Dark Ride".
At the end of a successful family trip, the "Expedition Golf" invites you to a round of mini-golf with creative and exciting tracks.
For adrenaline junkies
If you already have bigger children, or even like climbing and getting the creeps yourself, then these attractions at Katmandu Park are just right.
On the one hand there is the climbing park "K3 Climb", where you have to perform tasks at dizzying heights and pass a high-rope course with obstacles.
If the "Los Banditos XD Dark Ride" is too boring and if you are at least 12 years old, you should go to "ZOMBIES! XD Dark Ride " and fight against the living dead.
That is still not enough for you? Then go straight to "The Asylum"! Here you go on a nightmare 5D-adventure through worlds and situations, which otherwise only appear in the depths of your nightmares. This adventure is only recommended for children over 12 years.
