Detailed description

Excursion to the weekly market in Mallorca with olive oil tasting

Mallorca's weekly markets are the beating heart of the island's culture, a place where the local population and visitors gather to celebrate fresh produce, artisan delicacies and Mallorca's rich heritage. Each market is a mosaic of scents, colours and sounds, from fragrant pastries such as ensaimadas to colourful handicrafts. The best-known weekly markets include Arta and Sineu.

A particularly memorable experience is the olive oil tasting, a culinary custom that is deeply rooted in Mallorcan tradition. Visitors have the opportunity to get to know the differences between the locally produced olive oils, whose flavours are as varied as the island's landscape. From soft and mild to intense and fruity, each olive oil tasting is a journey of discovery in itself.

The charming tafonas, ancient oil mills scattered across the rural landscape, are silent witnesses to a centuries-old tradition. A minibus tour to the weekly markets with olive oil tasting not only takes you to these historic sites, but also combines the exploration of local specialities with an appreciation of traditional craftsmanship.

These minibus tours are carefully designed to offer an intimate and authentic experience in small groups. Visitors can look forward to a personalised encounter with the Mallorcan way of life, combining history, culture and gastronomy to create a holistic experience. They offer a perfect opportunity to get to grips with the island's culinary treasures, combined with the chance to collect unique souvenirs and memories that go far beyond the flavour of high-quality olive oil.
