In the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, learn how to make and taste olive oil in this workshop. The olive oil workshop begins with a walk through one of the oldest and most impressive olive groves on Mallorca. Here you will find out more about the history of the Serra de Tramuntana and its agricultural and social heritage. We will learn about the ancient and modern techniques used to care for the olive trees and the production process of this liquid gold.

At the end of the tour, you will receive a comprehensive practical demonstration on how to taste olive oil like an expert. Our aim is for you to take home all the knowledge you need to determine the quality of any olive oil. You will taste a selection of olive oils and discover your personal preferences. You will also be taught the best ways to use and store olive oil and, most importantly, how to enjoy it.

This olive oil tasting workshop in Mallorca is a unique opportunity to learn from one of the island's leading producers, in an exceptional setting, how to make good oil and how to enjoy the abundance of it. Surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, you will be able to see the restoration work carried out since 2007, which has restored this environment to the splendour of bygone eras.

Our tasting workshop begins with an explanatory walk through the Valldemossa olive grove, one of the oldest and most impressive on the island, where you will learn about the history of the estate and the agricultural and social heritage of the Serra de Tramuntana. You will also learn about the care of the ancient olive trees and the process of extra virgin olive oil production.

After the tour, it's time for the tasting, where our expert tasters will tell you everything you need to know to enjoy a good oil. By comparing different oils, you will learn to taste and comment on them, distinguish good oils from bad, and find out how to choose a good product, how to use it and how best to enjoy it.
