The restaurant 'A Ma Maison' opened its doors in November 2011. It's a very nice and cozy place where they cook French-Tunisian cuisine. Saloua Sfar, chef of the restaurant and of Tunisian origin, lets us discover a rich and varied cuisine where she always tries to introduce new scents and flavours of her origins.

Her career began in London with her first restaurant Alexandra but she always wanted to get  to know other cultures and countries. This is why she lived in places like the Lebanon, Idaho and Paris where she could practice her passion for cooking and could share her experience with other chefs and also learn from them. When she arrived in Palma de Mallorca she worked in various restaurants until a friend who knew of her talent and ability suggested her to open her own restaurant.

Her mother Zineb was the one who ignited her desire to enter the world of cooking. As a child she watched her mother as she selected ingredients, combined spices, and created new dishes based on Tunisian traditions. Everything is cooked on the spot and homemade. To Saloua the product is most important and that is why going to the market every morning to personally choose and buy fresh quality produce her guests deserve is key to her cooking style. From time to time, she also travels to Tunisia to buy spices and other products she needs for cooking and that are only available there.

Saloua cooks from her imagination and takes care to the smallest detail so that her guests have an exquisite meal. It's a real treat to try her popular dishes such as the homemade fish or lamb couscous or the Tunisian salad to name a few.

Besides being a good chef, Saloua is also an excellent hostess. She's a very warm person, who has the art of entertaining people and making them feel good and feel as if they are at home. This woman is all full of surprises and her plates are full of flavour's that demonstrate the high degree of experience and creativity that she has acquired over the years.

Tunisia in Greece ?!

A restaurant, which I did not expect in this way. My spoiled tongue was very happy with what was offered there. I felt that you cook with expertise and passion.

Tunesich in Griechenland?!

Ein Restaurant, was ich dort in dieser Art nicht erwartet habe. Meine verwöhnte Zunge war sehr glücklich über das, was ihr dort geboten wurde.
Ich spürte, das man dort mit Sachverstand und Passion kocht.
